Are there any hotels RIGHT ON the beach in Hawaii?

I am used to travel to the Mexican beach resorts and I always have a wonderful time. I went to Puerto Rico thinking I would have the same experience but I felt very disappointed. Don't take me wrong, Puerto Rico is very pretty and the people are very nice, but they do not have the concept of all inclusive beach resorts plus I had to rent a car to get around. I am thinking about going to Hawaii but I don't want to get disappointed with the hotels or having to rent a car. In the Mexican beach towns everything is near or taxis are very cheap. I know Hawaii is beautiful but if my hotel is not part of the beauty then I would feel disappointed. I also don't want to go on a cruise. I went on a cruise once and I didn't like it. I want to see how beautiful Hawaii is and at the same time I want to be treated like all tourists should be treated. Will I get that type of experience in Hawaii or should I continue to travel to the beautiful Mexican beaches? (please refrain from commenting about the violence in Mexico, Mexico is a big country and not every corner has violence, plus in that case you could also say that Hawaii may be getting radiation from what just happened in Japan, so don't write anything that is not related to vacations, don't be a negative person). Please recommend me a hotel in Hawaii, right ON the beach, all inclusive, with activities and tours. Oh, and I also want to do snorkeling!
