I am used to travel to the Mexican beach resorts and I always have a wonderful time. I went to Puerto Rico thinking I would have the same experience but I felt very disappointed. Don't take me wrong, Puerto Rico is very pretty and the people are very nice, but they do not have the concept of all inclusive beach resorts plus I had to rent a car to get around. I am thinking about going to Hawaii but I don't want to get disappointed with the hotels or having to rent a car. In the Mexican beach towns everything is near or taxis are very cheap. I know Hawaii is beautiful but if my hotel is not part of the beauty then I would feel disappointed. I also don't want to go on a cruise. I went on a cruise once and I didn't like it. I want to see how beautiful Hawaii is and at the same time I want to be treated like all tourists should be treated. Will I get that type of experience in Hawaii or should I continue to travel to the beautiful Mexican beaches? (please refrain from commenting about the violence in Mexico, Mexico is a big country and not every corner has violence, plus in that case you could also say that Hawaii may be getting radiation from what just happened in Japan, so don't write anything that is not related to vacations, don't be a negative person). Please recommend me a hotel in Hawaii, right ON the beach, all inclusive, with activities and tours. Oh, and I also want to do snorkeling!

Not to argue with you, but Hawaii has had no negative influence from the Japanese radiation problem.
Hawaii is a large place, tourism-wise, and the different islands have different types of resorts. I'm most familiar with Kauai, Maui, and the Big Island of Hawaii.
In Maui, there are many resorts on the beach, especially on the Kaanapali coast. See this site: http://www.kaanapalihawaiihotels.net/ We recently stayed at the Westin Kaanapali and we sat on a breakfast terrace right on the edge of the beach, watching whales while eating. The other hotels along the beach are similar. There are also resorts on other parts of Maui that have beach front. You do have to understand that all beaches are public in Hawaii, so hotels cannot keep the public off their little stretch unless the beach is entirely surrounded by private property.
On the Big Island (Hawaii) there are few sand beaches. There are hotels that are directly on the shore, but the shore is likely to be lava rock. I've stayed at hotels on the shore there, and I really enjoyed watching the surf crash on the rocks, but there was no ocean swimming at the hotel.
Kauai has some beachfront properties (The Lihue Mariott would be one), but I really enjoy Princeville, where there is no road between you and the beach, but you are up on the bluff and the beach is below. You have to walk down a path to get to it. When you arrive, there is virtually no one there.
So, I think you should try Hawaii once. I have nothing against Mexico (been there, also), but I think Hawaii has its own wonderful character. Also, it's the US, so no customs or foreign currency. Aloha, and mahalo (thank you) for listening to me.
Later edit: Sorry, I forgot to mention that the two islands of Lanai and Molokai are supposed to have great beach front resorts also, and they don't have any traffic because they have little tourism. I haven't been to either, but you can easily research the resorts there.
Several… go see a travel agent.
yes .. tons … it is on a island so yeah ……
The only "all-inclusive" place was in Kona, and is now closed following the tsunami.
All beaches in Hawaii are technically public property. You'll find hotels essentially "right on" the beach, and there may be no one else besides guests on the beach, but they're not going to have it entirely privatized like might occur elsewhere.
Anyway, yes, there are a great many hotels "right on" the beach in Hawaii. It does sound like you should go visit a travel agent to get your trip customized if these things are your top priority. They'll find you good places… but you are NOT going to get "all-inclusive." It might be close, but it won't be like occurs elsewhere in that regard.
Hey bro, you rite, Mexico have some beautiful hotel rite on beach, ok? And yeah, Hawaii have lotta beautiful beaches with beautiful hotel, rite on beach, on alla islands, and on Oahu in Waikiki, too, ok? Now, I not try to sell Hawaii to you, cause eva body like something little different, ok? And, lotta hotel in Mexico "end point" resort, that is when you come there, they expect you gonna stay whole time, you gonna eat there, drink there, and some have "European Plan"" or "all Inclusive" where you get like arm band, and alla food and drink and activities gonna be included, ok? No Hotel here Hawaii rite now have that, that I know about, and I not pretend to know all bout everything, ok? So, you want hotel rite on beach, my suggest you try Waikiki, gonna be bout 10 hotel rite on beach, Sheraton Ala Moana very nice place, Outrigger Waikiki both got great beach, and you go from hotel to beach, no road to cross, ok? Hilton Hawaiian Villiage on beach, but got big campus, so you room maybe not on beach, ok? So my suggest, go online, and yahoo hotel in Waikiki, you gonna get big list of hotel with map, it show you where they are, you make you choice, and pay you money, and have great time, ok?
Also, don't overlook Maui, got lotta great hotel/condo rite on beach, Kaanapali gonna have maybe 10 big hotels rite on beach, also Wailea, and of course Kona Coast of Big Island, so don't worry lotta hotel rite on beach, but not too many that I know of all inclusive, ok?
